Honestly, I
had to be almost no problems with Critter Escape! save one. The
line-drawing controls, while most
of the time good pathfinding can sometimes still a bit
dodgy. It is easy enough to adjust when a path goes astray (pauses the action, while everything is tracked out), but sometimes the creature does not follow the
instructions. Become a
rule that an unintentional swim through toxic slime, hung on a
wall, while
a guard closes in, and so on.
Critter Escape!, Even with its imperfections, is still a fun game to make the line drawing feel much less by-the-numbers management. It has to hold style, presentation and lots of replay value people addicted, so long as they need the distraction might got.
