Lock ‘n’ Load Review

Lock ‘n’ Load Review icon

The actual gameplay itself is good, but just lacks a definition of hooks. There are many things, such as unlock new weapons and skins, even though the game expects the player to use real money to get the most from them, and there are tougher challenges and settings to the already substantial game even more meaningful. Also the game has a nice amount of control options, including an auto-aim, but certain parts, like the ring of fire, analogue movement require far too precise to use for a touchscreen. In addition, it is about as good as this genre gets.

Ski Safari Review

Ski Safari Review icon

Even though I could play Ski Safari for hours and never get bored, there is a "big mistake that gum to the works. I'm talking a massive problem that almost breaks the experience. Ending a run-time the players have to go back to the title screen. With in other words, there is no super-quick way to dive right back into the game after it went into the snow. Yup. that's it. Oh, and I was exaggerating by the way. A lot.

Polymer Review

Polymer Review icon

While the in-app purchases are optional for all modes and pieces as they can be unlocked in the game itself over time, it may still take a long time to unlock all the extra pieces, modes, and color schemes available. The app is a bit unstable on the iPod touch 4th Gene in the moment, with occasional crashes occurring on app launch and if you try to tweet pictures of polymers. The app also has no native support iPad at the moment.

Hambo Review

Hambo Review icon

At the end of every level players are awarded coins and a score. Coins can be used in the store to buy costumes for Hambo, new missions, solutions, and skips. The store is robust and has many items available for purchase. Players can also purchase more coins with real money or get some for free for liking the app on Facebook.

Crow Review

Crow Review icon

Every now and then, during a game appears that confirms that video games are just so much to be of an artistic platform as any other. Crow is one of those games. And surprisingly, Crow is a mobile game. It's hard enough for a game to distinguish itself as an art in the console and PC World, but it is even more impressive when a game is like Crow and different from all the social games and time wasters.

FREE Sketch Nation Studio Review

Sketch Nation Studio Review icon

The fun of Sketch Nation Studio is in creation. All the tools to make games are very easy to use. When I create my soon-to-be-masterpiece Sharktocopter, I never felt like things were getting too complex. Everything is in plain terms, as far as features and actions represented for items.

Burnout CRASH! Review

Burnout CRASH! Review icon

There are different varieties at any level means the game has significant replay value to play. Each mode is different and has its own unique strategy. Some modes are insanely over the top events such as tornadoes or super giant lobster monster. Each intersection is unique with its own unique traffic patterns, and building functions.

Spaceward Ho! for iPad Review

Spaceward Ho! for iPad Review icon

Who played Spaceward Ho! During his glory days on the Mac will be pleased to hear that the transition to iOS is almost seamless. Touch controls work fine, elect on a few occasions where it is difficult to move a particular unit. Otherwise there is nothing lost in translation, in fact, the game may work better on a touch screen. All the old sound effects are back as well, so expect to hear that familiar "Hyah!" If you travel to a new planet, or "Let's get out," if a waiver of any planet.

FREE Fondu Review

Fondu Review icon

The Fondu interface is now reminiscent of a more expensive Instagram. This is a good starting point for an app to encourage people to share short reviews, and photos with their friends focused. It is easy to learn and just as quickly find the information. Convenience makes it much more likely to be used regularly, and the integration with Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare makes it more inviting.

Stereolizer

Stereolizer icon

The music quality is dependent on the station. Stereolizer offers users a wide variety of music, but there are a few flaws to mention. Users can not add a channel manually, and are forced to the stations of the app made available to listen to. The ability to manually add a station would Stereolizer attractive to those who have a difficult time finding a station that suits their tastes are. The bass and treble are just for looks and serve no functional purpose.

FREE MLB At Bat 2012 Review

MLB At Bat 2012 Review icon

Unfortunately archaic blackout restrictions still make it impossible to watch local teams, games aired during Fox Saturday blackout window, and during the Sunday night ESPN blackout window. The fox a particularly high because they watch it difficult if not impossible, the games on Saturday that they do not airing on a local market. As well, the video can be live action behind the times, usually only a few seconds in the worst case, but the delay may be larger, and sometimes it is very possible for a feed behind the live action.

Bug Princess 2 Review

Bug Princess 2 Review icon

As a Cave shooter, is also prone to bug Princess 2 for many of the typical "issues" as well. Most notably, while the visuals look good stylistically, they are not the kind of sharpness would be expected in this age of HD everything. Granted, it is over 5 years old at this point. Apart from the fact that it's also pretty hard. This should come as no surprise, of course, but all that would be for a casual shooter probably keep their distance. Or at least give the lite version of one of the other Cave shooters iOS a try first. Just to be on the safe side.

FREE Endless War Review

Endless War Review icon

While there are tons of options to handle the endless war, it can also be surprisingly restrictive. Only one main and one secondary weapon can be equipped at a time, and they can not be turned on until a level is over. Power-ups are also strangely non-existent during the game, the players, they must first be acquired in the workshop. In a weird way I'm put off a bit on the speed of enemy missiles, which are much slower. I have no idea why this is so or why it bugs me, but it works.

FREE Bounty Bots Review

Bounty Bots Review icon

Bounty Bots is an online free-to-play shooter that is not really know about the shooting. The aim is to collect coins throughout the floors, and then head to one of the benches on the card, pay for these coins. These are both a score and the money can be spent on new weapons and costumes for the character of the wild west robot. Yes, that's right. This is a six-player-versus-all affair, and always made money caused to drop, and if the player dies, they lose all the money is not deposited yet.

iOOTP Baseball 2012 Edition Review

iOOTP Baseball 2012 Edition Review icon

The game really is not much different than last year, though. It's still a baseball simulation game, there is no real on-the-field action, but that's not the point. This is for the player who thrives on the strategy of the sport and to control what is going on, not to swing the bat and throw the pitches is even meant. The interface is largely the same as well, with only a few minor improvements and small things like the background image has always been considered one of the Citizens Bank Park and the weather was just a random number, hardly suitable for the climate (if it ever was 60 degrees in May in Arlington, TX, there's a good chance of a new ice Age had begun) remain unchanged.

Brandnew Boy Review

Delving into the App Store without any kind of leadership can be tricky. Trying to pick out an interesting app or game with nothing but a bunch of screenshots and some customer reviews, at best a 50-50 chance of success. And yet, every now and then an idea can lead to something extraordinary. In this case, my guess led to Brandnew Boy. And yes, it's really extraordinary.

Tank Hero: Laser Wars Review

Tank Hero: Laser Wars Review icon

Graphically the game looks great, with good use of light and shadow. As funny as it sounds like the start menu as well made and have a quality look about them.

Streetbike: Full Blast HD Review

Streetbike: Full Blast HD Review icon
The graphics are also very simple, with lots of pop-up track. The sound effects are poor, especially the bikes and canned applause when the player finishes a race. There are also localization, with poorly structured sentences and even a typo on the developer's name.
