NUU Releases a New Keyboard Case for the iPhone 4

$80 is a little strong for my budget at a keypad of the iPhone. But others feel less comfortable with the onscreen keyboard can go in the MiniKey.

If there was a reason I've heard more than any other about why anyone would buy an Android phone or Blackberry over the iPhone, is that the person does not like typing on touch screens. Regardless of my argument that after a few weeks, I ended up writing a lot faster on the iPhone screen on my old Blackberry, people often opt for a physical keyboard.

The Nuu MiniKey case is not the only physical keyboard for the iPhone (there is a pull-out that is available at ThinkGeek and other BoxWave popular), but has some interesting features and a rugged-looking (although it seems you can almost double the thickness of the iPhone).

The MiniKey has navigation keys to provide facilities for movement between the characters that the use of the glass on the touch screen. Like most mobile phone keypads, the MiniKey has function keys for faster grant writing symbols and numbers. Something I have not seen in the iPhone is another keyboard backlight. While not useful for a skilled typist like me who do not need to look at the keys, typists rookie others may need to see which keys are pressing. The MiniKey also compatible with Mac keyboard shortcuts as Command + C to copy and Command + V to paste. And finally, is a key to switch between the physical keyboard and screen. I guess this key becomes just the keyboard and out (that would be great to save battery life).

The Nuu MiniKey is selling for $ 79.99 at Amazon (free shipping). This will not be of interest to those of us who are confident that Apple knows and ideal if you need a physical keyboard that have given us. But anyone on the fence between the iPhone and other phones, accessories like this can be the deciding factor.
