Brandnew Boy Review

Delving into the App Store without any kind of leadership can be tricky. Trying to pick out an interesting app or game with nothing but a bunch of screenshots and some customer reviews, at best a 50-50 chance of success. And yet, every now and then an idea can lead to something extraordinary. In this case, my guess led to Brandnew Boy. And yes, it's really extraordinary.

A young man wins the confidence in unfamiliar territory, with no memory of his past and to a hyperactive TV after him. Players get to the bewildered youth (later called himself "Rookie") to fight by fight, like him, find out who he is and why his brain is empty, trying to lead. Brandnew Boy new in its core is an action-heavy fighting game with light RPG elements. Tapping on an enemy launches an attack (and rookie), while the downstream fittings combos will build. Tap the right time (indicated by a yellow-meters) is made harder, while swiping used to avoid incoming attacks. New weapons, outfits and unlock capabilities at various levels, while coins are used in combat earned to buy them.
