While the in-app purchases are optional for all modes and pieces as they can be unlocked in the game itself over time, it may still take a long time to unlock all the extra pieces, modes, and color schemes available. The app is a bit unstable on the iPod touch 4th Gene in the moment, with occasional crashes occurring on app launch and if you try to tweet pictures of polymers. The app also has no native support iPad at the moment.
Although there are a few bumps along the way, is a polymer is extremely impressive game to forget even if it's from a first-time developers. It's one of my favorite puzzle games to IOS.
