Simple is the key behind Awesome Calendar. It's effective yet never feels too complicated. All necessary functions are there from the Minor (Set whether the start of the week on Sunday or Monday) to the powerful (sync support). Do you expect on a function from a task-management app, and it's there, it makes it easy to create an event and send it over to anyone of importance.
The only real tool that I have missed was the ability to color, to add specific tasks, but other than that it is a great app. The combination of diary functionality to do with calendars and to-list feature is an excellent step to ensure that the essential Awesome Calendar. The icing on the cake is the synchronization that works well and quickly, it makes a good solution for those regularly on the move.
