Each level in this game consists of a horizontal field of battle where the player the hero units and advance from the left and the enemy advance units of the right side. In general, the goal is to clear the entire field of enemies while protecting the Spartan base on the left side of the field. There are many different types of units expected to command and destroy, and they all need their own strategic thinking.
The many elements of Glory of Sparta work well together. The keys are a bit crowded and this can sometimes make it difficult to hit the right at the right time. Apart from this, however, work on the action and strategy elements together well. This is a fun title with a lot of players at the very small price to offer for free.
