Light Byte Review

Light Byte Review icon

There are two additional modes locked with hefty entrance fees. Five million player points will have access to the first of three Time Attack levels and Light Byte mode opens by a whopping 25 million. Of course, the extra modes are unlocked through in-app purchases, and when the guy playing the 5 minutes and run, to add replay value and the variations could be worth it. But after he owned the weekend, I'm between 400000-600000 points on average a game, so I'm going for the hard way.

The graphics are simple and light, with primary colors in the foreground, and the controls are to smooth the fastest fingers. There are also plenty of leaderboards and Game Center to earn achievements. All that's missing is sync icloud.

Light Byte moment like a matching game, but the open simplicity and the subtle layers of complexity look like mesh wonderfully. Pick it up, but do not expect to resign it.
