Fish Fury Review

Without a doubt, the weirder the premise for a game, the more compelling it is in the long run. There is no game where this is more prominent than in ‘Fish Fury’ for iPhone, a game in which your main task is to protect your piranha colony from a variety of evil birds (some of whom are able to fly solely due to their hats), through wielding a samurai sword and a sense of fishy fury. No joke.

Though fairly new on the app store, Fish Fury game certainly has a huge premise. If previous games are anything to go by, it is certainly odd games such as this which tend to be the most popular and the most addictive, with the survival aspect of ‘how long can you go before you lose’ making it a huge personal challenge to best the game, and your previous scores. As is also the way with games like these, they truly have to be played to be believed.

There is no amount of description that can truly tell you what it is like to role play as a piranha with a sword, so I leave that up to you to find out for yourself. So, all in all – yes it is definitely an odd game. But no, this should certainly not put you off purchasing it.

The game itself is one of the most addictive in a while, and it certainly has a huge element of replay value – as said, the need to try and best previous scores makes this game last far longer than you might think, and the sheer amusement factor carries it even further.

Hours into the game you will still have a moment where you step back and truly realise what it is you are doing – you are playing as a ninja piranha. And believe me, that awesomeness never wears off.
