Taking into account recent location tracking drama, FutureTap also noted an "interesting" file called MKUserLocationBreadCrumb in the report. It is unknown whether this file is related to the consolidated.db file currently under investigation by several European countries and South Korea, as well as by Congress. Steve Jobs noted in a recent interview that the consolidated.db file relates to ongoing research and development by Apple for improved travel and mapping applications.

FutureTap makes the iPhone app WhereTo? ($1.99), which allows people to find the nearest anything they are looking for. You can also view nearby attractions, restaurants, and retails stores in an augmented reality setting.
